Message for the Transportation-less:
Hashers with extra room in their cars are usually happy to give lifts to those who need rides. If you are new to the Hash or need a lift, make sure you contact us to let us know you will be there. We will do our best to connect you with an available seat. If you contact us at last minute and want to find a ride..........Good luck. (Pls understand that it's not we don't want to help, most of mis-managements are multi-tasking: getting drinks and ice, setting trails, preparing snacks, picking up people who need a ride..etc.) Remember: many run-start locations are close enough for you to scooter or taxi to. Depart from Taichung promptly at 13:00. Hares away at 14:00 for most runs, and you should get there with enough time to pay Hash Cash and hear the Chalk Talk instructions, as well as have a drink. Please give your driver $100NTD to say "thanks", and to encourage Hash members with cars to pick people up. This is a small price to pay to make sure you get to and from the Hash safely, and helps your driver with their gas expense. Thank you. |

2. Check the link to run start on your mobile to see if it works well
在手機上點擊「起跑點」的路線連結、或起跑點座標,確認此連結在你的手機上可正常運作
3. You may meet us at the "run start" at 1:45PM if it’s nearby and you can drive/ride/bike/run there. Hares leaves around 2PM.
Sometimes, there would be some flour/shred paper/chalk marks to lead you when you are near the run start.
如果當周起跑點很近,你可以自行前往集合,請於1:45PM前抵達,兔子2點開跑。有時在靠近起跑點的路上,可以看到粉筆/麵粉/紙屑做出的指引
4. If the run start is far, you may contact us to carpool at 1PM. It is also suggested to leave a message on FB page to let people know you need a ride. BE THERE ON TIME! The run start time is 2PM except for some special events.
若是起跑點較遠,你可以留言尋求搭便車(建議可在臉書留言告知你需要搭便車),請千萬準時,兔子一樣在2PM起跑,若有特別活動會另行公告
5. Bring money: NTD 300MAN/200GIRL. The money is for snacks and drink. A run fee would be different when there is a special event, which will be announced in advance.
請帶新台幣:男生300/女生200,路線結束後會有點心跟啤酒,若遇到特殊活動會有特別收費,都會預先公布
6. Wear proper outfit/shoes. You may get dirty/wet while on a trail. And bring a second outfit/flip-flop/shoes… you will need to change afterwards.
請穿著適合跑步的衣著/鞋子,並請記得帶替換的衣物/鞋,因為在跑步時可能會弄髒/弄濕~
7. Please listen to the hares before a run start. They will explain all the marks and what to do if got lost. Or you can grab your friend who brings you to HASH, or stick with other hashers.
起跑前請仔細聽當周的兔子講解路徑上的記號,以及迷路時應該採取的措施
或者~ 捉著帶你來的朋友 又或者~ 緊跟著其他的跑者~
8. please consider your physical condition and choose suitable activity before you challenge long/hard trail.
Evaluate the amount of water you need to consume and bring enough water/energy supply especially on a hot summer day.
Please note you are the only one should be responsible for your own safety!

Important announcement from TH3 Mis-Management
Thank you to our Hashers for the extra efforts to maintain health and protect us all through the Coronavirus threat here in Taiwan. As cases in Taiwan have dwindled, and local transmission is at basically zero, we are returning to something like our normal, with a few changes. Even though Taiwan has done well, there is no reason to take any chances.
1) The Beer Bitch role is hereby restored! All hale. However, please maintain your own drinking vessel. Each hasher is responsible for your own cup - The Beer Bitch will be pouring, but into the cup you offer. We will be again bringing the extra cups for those who don’t bring one, but please avoid sharing.
2) Hash Snacks are back! Please remain aware of the communal nature of the snacks, but we will again be providing snacks to restore your good humor after the trail.
3) Personal responsibility – This is unchanged.
a. If you are feeling ill, even in the slightest – DON’T COME TO THE HASH. Stay home. Get well.
b. If you live, work, or sleep with someone who is ill – even slightly - DON’T COME TO THE HASH
c. If you have come into contact with someone who has been confirmed with the coronavirus - DON’T COME TO THE HASH
d. If you are at all uncomfortable with the possibility of exposure - DON’T COME TO THE HASH
4) Down Downs –
a. Maintain your own cup, the lovely Beer Bitch will make sure you get filled.
b. No spitting beer or other liquids out of your mouth onto others, or into the air.
c. No pouring beer or other liquid from your cup onto others
d. No licking each other
TH3 is a great way to spend a Saturday, and we are happy that we are working through this. Please remember, there is no need to take any risks. If you are in any way uncomfortable with any of this – don’t come to the hash for now. We will welcome you back eventually.
